Am I committed if I fill out the form?+
No. The form starts a conversation. Any purchase requires a separate written agreement.
What happens if I only send the address?+
Step 1 sends the property address to Westwood Home Buyer immediately. We may research the property and ownership, find contact details, or contact the owner by mail about a possible purchase. You can read more in our privacy notice.
Could listing with an agent be better?+
Yes. Listing may be a better fit if market exposure and maximizing sale price are your priorities. Compare the work, timing, likely proceeds and terms of each option.
How do I compare the offer with what I would keep?+
Subtract your mortgage payoff, any other amounts due and the seller costs and adjustments in the proposed sale. Ask the closing professional for an estimated settlement statement. Our pricing guide includes a simple example; the offer price is not the same as the amount available for your next home.
Can we start if I live out of state?+
Yes. Tell us your connection to the property, its occupancy and who can arrange authorized access. The title or closing professional should confirm the signing and document requirements before you rely on an entirely remote closing.
What if I need time to move or sort belongings?+
Tell us early. We can discuss the dates that matter and any items you want to keep or leave. Closing, possession and cleanup responsibilities need to be agreed in writing rather than assumed.
